吃瓜网 Galleries and the Department of Art & Design host MONOCHROME, an exhibition of student work

MURRAY, Ky. 鈥� The 吃瓜网 Galleries and the Department of Art & Design are pleased to announce MONOCHROME, an exhibit sponsored by the Organization of 吃瓜网 Art Students (OMAS). The exhibition is open through Mar. 29 in the Clara M. Eagle Main Gallery on the sixth floor of the Doyle Fine Arts Building located on 吃瓜网 State鈥檚 campus. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with evening hours extended on Tuesday until 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
OMAS organizes and curates an annual juried show for students at 吃瓜网 who are actively engaged in the process of making visual art.
This year鈥檚 juror for the exhibition is visual artist and 吃瓜网 State alumnus Jerry Bedor Phillips, a visual artist living and creating in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the building manager, studio assistant and gallery coordinator for the Vanderbilt University Department of Art and for Space 204, the contemporary gallery space located in the E. Bronson Ingram Studio Arts Center on Vanderbilt鈥檚 campus. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking and Drawing from 吃瓜网 in 2007 and his master of fine arts in printmaking and drawing from Bradley University in 2010.
